Help Dialer drains battery

Hi,

since a few days ago my phone battery gets drained by the dialer when the phone is on standby. Even if I don't use the phone all day the dialer uses more than 50% of my phone battery. Anyone had that happen before?

I also noticed that sometimes my phone gets extremely hot in my pocket. I've never had that happen before.

I had this problem today. Turned the phone off and back on again and it seemed to stop. Down at 9% battery for the rest of the day though!

Do you use a task killer? That could be the culprit in this situation.
