Dialer Launcher

Hello

I hope someone can help. I have an HTC One X. I recently had to factory reset it. Since the reset I noticed a high volume of data usage. When I looked a little closer it seems that Dialer Launcher is the culprit. I checked the phone itself to see if there is any where that I can stop it from using the internet but couldn't find anything. I've also used Google to find a solution and found a number of people that have the same issue but the only advice I have found is to root your device and this allows you access to stop it. Surely there must be a way of doing this. It wasn't happening before the reset and I haven't installed any apps that I was using before.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello enzobi and welcome to Android Forums. You will want to check in with the other members here that own the One X for the best advice for your launcher issues. We have an area just for the One X where they hang out. Here is a link to that area:
HTC One X/XL - Android Forums
Best of luck to you and thanks for joining and using these forums.

You can also go to your applications setting and clear data from the app in question.

Hello and welcome aboard. :)
