Noob here --
Finally joined the smartphone universe this past holiday and bought myself a very nice used E4GT. I absolutely love it with one small quibble:
When I'm surfing, checking mail, etc., the dialer app frequently and randomly pops to the front.
I Googled and found exactly one other instance at another forum of this happening, only the phone was a rooted DroidX. The poster never got an answer.
My phone was professionally rooted and flashed to Boost Mobile, running Gingerbread 2.3.6/Calkulin ROM. While I consider myself fairly tech-savvy on PCs, I have no idea how to do any of this stuff myself.
Am I stuck with this minor annoyance, or is there an easy fix? Would the ROM have something to do with this, or is there a setting somewhere that needs to be tweaked? Would a different dialer app help?
