How do I find the android dialer?

Good question: seems you can remove the dialer from the home screen but it's not in the app drawer so lord knows how you get it back 
I guess your options are either either to get a dialer from the Play Store or back everything up and try a factory reset.

Hi, I don't know if this will help but in my app drawer the dialer app is named 'Phone'.
