... Yahoo spammers are the reason I won't sync. My addy has been spoofed a couple of times, and since I no longer have any contacts listed, my friends can't be pestered. Some spammers do manage to get contacts in Yahoo.

I also just had a mistaken either Paypal spam or scam in the account I did try G+ with. (Not associated with phone) Not sure if it was mistaken address, or a scam.
Phishbuster say the header was legit. I don't need or want any more. I've banned everything from G+ in Thunderbird with the setup to delete from server when I delete message. I rarely use the web page email, I prefer POP3 or IMAP and a different email app.

So, I sync my PC (I use Outlook for contacts/calendar/email) with my phone directly using MyPhoneExplorer. I sync Outlook's contacts etc with the Google account on the phone BUT have "Google's sync" turned off so that nothing gets out into the "wild".

I use Rocketdialer on the phone set to come up with the 'favourites' screen on first opening. My Favourites screen is, I guess, like a 'quick dial'. Single tap to open favourites then 2nd tap to dial person.

Dunno if that's what you're after? Oh, and I do add piccies but it's not compulsory .....

I've looked at Rocket - but it says ideal for large screens. I have a Nexus 4. What will happen on that size screen?

I sync mail with Aquamail since I use GMX. Contacts I can back up on PC.

No idea how big that is but things look fine on my HTC Desire HD. This is a 4.3" screen though only 480x800 resolution.
