dialtone changer

Hi there,
I know Apple has an app like this but I am just wondering if Android does too and if so if anybody would know the name of it.
I am looking to change the ringing sound that my friend gets when he tries to call me. I would like to play music for him/her instead.
Please let me know if you know the name of an app that is out there

"The ringing sound that [your] friend gets when he tries to call [you]" is generated by his telco and your telco communicating with each other and back to him what's happening on your end. And what's happening on your end is precisely nothing as long as you haven't picked up the call. Whatever app you would get for this would only start working

Yup. My telco offers this service. You can pay like .25c per month to have a specific song of your choosing play as your ring back. It has nothing to do with your phone being Android or iPhone. Heck even a 3310 can have a song ringback.

Cheers! My thoughts exactly. Typically one of those iPhoney stories. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

Reminds of the original Google Voice.....GrandCentral. You were able to do this. I think they called it a "ringback". It is actually the only feature of GrandCentral that I miss in Google Voice.
