Root Dictionary Problem

[rob200375]

Hi,

I have modaco r12 rom on my SF and if I go to text messaging and enable the dictionary the keyboard closes after I select the next key, Without the dictionary enabled the keypad stays open.

Has anyone else had this and do they know how to fix it.

try clear it's data in Application Settings

I have noticed i have no keyboard settings within the menus as well as not being able to get the dictionary to work.

Perhaps try a different keyboard from the Market
Have you thought about upgrading your ROM?

i tried reinstalling the rom and still no joy.

I then tried a new rom and now the phone wont boot just hangs on the green android.

That's because you need to wipe data and/or your phone is GEN1 and the ROM GEN2

i have wiped data and still no joy and tried older roms that i know worked,

I am going to upgrade to gen 2 and see what happens
