Dictionary suggestions

So I want to turn off the dictionary suggestions on my phone, but I can't seem to turn it off since I updated to 2.3.6 . I tried menu > settings > language and keyboard > Swype > Wordsuggestions > and there I unticked all the boxes.
So it should not be there, but when I type something, above my keyboard appears: + "blabla" add to dictionary? in a black box. It's very annoying.
Can someone help me?

Just to get the obvious facts clear, you are using Swype as keyboard right? And not the default? Because the option you mentioned only affects the Swype keyboard.

I'm using the Swype keyboard, but I don't swype, I just type the letters one by one, sometimes I swype a word. Don't really like the other keyboard.

You'll want to go Language and keyboard > Touch input > text input and uncheck prediction, I assume.

I don't see a touch input option, when I click Language and keyboard my options are; Select language, Select input method, Swype settings and Samsung keypad settings
