Did anyone in the UK wake up with a confirmation email?

It's now after 9am and no bank charge or change to my Play order. Something about a watched pot never boiling comes to mind?
 
i spoke to Google yesterday (had to call to check my payment had been accepted as had a couple of issues on my credit card), and the guy said orders would be shipping this week, so should expect to hear something in the next 3 days :)

the money won't leave your account until the order has been marked as shipped, so when the money's gone, it's on its way!
 
I now read online that currys, Dixon's have stock and will deliver this week while Google themselves here in the uk, or actually Ireland are struggling with stock? What the hell is going on. Glad I cancelled. Hope you lot get them soon, or at least the ridiculous postage refunded at least!

I've just called the Google Play helpline. 15min wait, but the operator assured me that my order has been 'successful' and I should receive a shipping number today.

The operator was American ... so I double checked to see if that applies to the UK and he said yes.

I'll wait with bated breath!
 
Question, have people actually been charged yet? No activity on bank at all, but could I still have the possibility of it shipping today? (Ordered 28th)

well. I have just contacted my credit card company and they confirm i have been charged even though i cancelled the order. Infact they say i was charged on the 10th July?

Im going to ring Google once i find a number as nobody replies to emails!

You can get a call back from your order in Google Play


I ordered my N7 on the 27th so today is really the last day for my two day shipping. I've been pretty patient until now but it's starting to look as though they will miss the self imposed time. I just want information, why can't Google just say something?
 
well rang google twice.........had the phone picked up and put down on me twice without even starting a conversation?

third time lucky?
