did factory reset, lost all contacts

I had to do a factory reset again as my phone was basically becomming unresponsive to anything. typing was impossible and i just couldnt take it anymore. I did a factory reset back in the spring and dindn't lose my contacts, this time I did. Is there anyway to get them back on my phone?

thats what everyone at work keeps telling me. i did that and only 3 contacts showed up.

If you log into your google account in a web browser do your contacts show up there?

only ones that show up are the ones i've had in my gmail, not anything else.

Because you saved contacts as default in Backup Assistant by Verizon. Restore inside this app.

I'd highly suggest saving contacts as Google/gmail contacts for this reason.

It automatically restores as soon as you sign into your Google account
