Root did i mess up bad?

Ok so first off I'm using a cricket zte x500 and I rooted the non computer way since I don't have one atm. Everything went fine, and I followed all the steps and what have you but I guess I missed something. Because after I backed up(on my sd card if thats even ok) I tried to apply a rom and it made the phone keep restarting so I tried to restore and it said mdk5 or something was missing, I have clockworkmod but now I'm not quite sure what to do, I tried to factory reset but now it just sits on zte.

Which phone do you have so I can get you to the right forum. This is for the original Motorola droid.
Just one suggestion, there might be a way to turn of the md5 check while in clockwork recovery.

Lol whoops I have a cricket zte x500 and also I don't think I downloaded the cwm recovery or whatever, would it be to late to put that on my sd card or what

I am going to move this to ZTE score All Things Root to get you some help.

What recovery are you using to try and flash a rom if not for clockwork?

Ok sorry I'm late to the fun Lol Was this issue resolved? If not just let me know where you're at now and wether or not you are able to reach the recovery menu. Even stock recovery is fine as long as you got a recovery I can help ya bring the phone back to life ;)
