Hi everybody,
and forgive me for my newbie-ness!
I had hanging around at home an old Galaxy i7500 (the first galaxy ever?) so, before risking to brick some more recent phone, and as a learning step on rooting, I decided to root it.
I flashed (...right term?) GAOSP config., ODIN, CyanogenMod.
I followed this: http://mauweb.net/3.0/en/technology...amsung-galaxy-i7500-upgrade-1634-wrec-64.html
and this:http://androidforums.com/i7500-all-things-root/72037-easy-guide-update-galaxo-gaosp.html.
I thought I was done but, apparently, I don't have root access at all (I noticed it by trying to use Titanium Backup and Root Browser).
Still, I can overclock the silly thing! (fortunately!!!)
So: what have I done? Something in between, ...nothing at all?
What's happening exactly??
Many thanks for your kind help!
Huck
