Root Did OTA update effect Root process for stock phone?

Does anyone know if the OTA update will block the Root process for the HTC evo v 3d all stock? Looking to root but was wondering if anything was patched in the update. Thanks!
 
No, it will not block the ability to root the phone. In fact, you can still use the same process that to root that's already there :)
 
yes, unlike apple, most android phones actually support rooting out of the box and even encourage it for those who know what they are doing
