did smart phone need defragmentation?

a day I saw there was so many fragment in SD card in my phone, so I want ask did users need to do fragmentation on SD card for any reason?

usually when that happens, just format the sdcard, but of course get all the things you want off (ie, pictures, downloads, titanium backup folder) stuff like that

No, Solid State Memory will never need defragmentation.

Usually Flash memory has blocks .
