Help Did they ever fix the Save Image problem?

Reading through the forum postings I found many are not able to easily save images on their android devices any longer, just like me.
Has this been addressed in any way?

Saving images from where, for example? From the web/browser? Email? Text/mms?
Sorry if I'm missing the question, but that could be that I've not saved any images, save for the camera itself ;)
 
Starting several months ago folks started complaining about not being able to save pictures off the net. Some could with Chrome only, some without.
Others with Firefox only.
They long tap no longer gave the option menu which included Save Image.
The new method was the old method of finding the image on it's original page which is very cumbersome and unpopular, but is the only way I can now do it.
I have read complaints, I thought on this very forum, that many had this problem.
THEN the SMS image loading and saving problem also came along for a number of phones. I have not tried to save an image from a text, so I don't know about me.

No one is talking to you like you are five lol

We have simply stated that we haven't had any issues saving images. I haven't read or came across any topics about it on this forum or xda over the last several months.

Maybe their are a few folks who have had this same issue. Give it a day or so and see if they respond.
 
A common problem with being unable to save images, is if you've got a counterfeit or duff micro-SD card in your phone. If you are using an SD, did you buy it recently? As there a lot of fakes being sold cheap on-line. And there is a lot of that on this forum, especially with saving and losing pictures from fake SD cards.

What actual phone have you got, make, model, Android version, is it rooted, custom ROM, who's your carrier, what country are you in, etc. etc?
