did they pull off the updates from LG website?

I am able to download usb drivers and update software from LG website.

However, in the models list I am unable to find LGC710h.

Update software detects my phone so I guess it's not that big a deal,

But when the software says there is nothing to update,

It frustrates me. I do not know how to update.

Anyone any ideas?

I am following the instructions on the telus website,

which directed me to LG website, but no luck at all

Can anyone help me please?

Yes they did. And no mention of when. Telus knows nothing, don't even bother talking to them

Pretty much. We're the only people left who care about development on this phone! haha.

If interested, I managed to pull the Gingerbread ROM from my girlfriend's phone and it's currently in the All things root section. I also modded a ROM, but I haven't tested yet!

When I asked the LG support about the update he said its a month away.
He was acting like it was never released.

quite possible. Also the bluetooth issue was a pain, noone could pair their bluetooth headsets (workaround supplied in thread), the wifi issue (Possibly due to misconfigured drivers) and the screen freeze issue (Still investigating). Seriously, they made us wait this long for an update and can't even make sure it works 100%. Kinda sad.

Yesterday the lg site said no upgrade was required, today LG PC Suite IV decided my phone could be updated. I did and so far everything's perfect here too. Maybe it's finally stable =)

I guess they're too scared to admit they released a new version... The problem is that I probably can't pull a new version until they release a new version number, which they NEVER will... Can someone pull a Nandroid if they did an update after October 21st? If you don't know how to pull a Nandroid image, it's not for the faint of heart. You need recovery installed. It'd help me figure out what they changed (If anything)
