I have a Samsung Galaxy ACE phone. As I heard that we have an upgrade to GB available, I installed a new version of Kies software today and it showed me a message " A new firm version is available : KQ5". I clicked ok. It downloaded all the components and while upgrading I am getting a strange error "size of disk should be 3000 MB". When I click ok it stops the upgrade.

Please help. Which size is this being asked for ? This firmware upgrade is on the phone correct? I have a SD card of 2GB. Need your help. How can I do a successful upgrade.

It is reffering to your C: drive ie. the default installation drive.
You need to keep 3000mb free on your C drive prior to installation because KIES downloads the temporary files to the C drive.
So free up your your C drive and try again.

Hey anybody knows how I can update gingerbread through Kies? Its telling me there is nothing new (Czech republic). thanks
