What is the difference between Samsung's wireless chargers? I know there's a cheaper wireless charger and then there's a more expensive one that says fast charger on it. Is it really worth the extra money and does it charge it that much faster? I know standard chargers that are considered fast chargers are 2A outputs and so is the cheaper Samsung wireless charger. So anyone else see where I'm coming from?

But wouldn't the normal Samsung wireless charger charge my phone just as fast seeing that my s6's charger says 2a output and is considered a fast charger as it says on the charger itself. The normal wireless charger, not the one thats more expensive, also has a 2a. So wouldn't it still be a fast charger?

Samsung's wireless fast charge currently only works with the note 5 and s6 edge.

One of the phandroid writers just did a test on the Samsung wireless fast charge and it was in fact quite a bit faster than the standard wireless charging.

See the writeup here: http://phandroid.com/2015/09/25/samsung-fast-wireless-charging-comparison/
This test was about seeing if Fast Wireless Charging is, well, fast. As you can see in the chart above, it certainly is. The Samsung Fast Wireless Charger took my Note 5 from 0-100% in just under 2 hours. Samsung's claim of reducing charge time by 50 minutes was actually an undersell in my testing, as the old wireless charger took over 3 hours.

Likely with Samsung, there's some proprietary handshake between the charger and phone, that basically says, "Are you a Samsung fast charge enabled phone, I'm a Samsung fast charger." :) ...and anything else just gives the default rates for charging, whatever they are.
