Difference in TF201, TF700T, etc...

Could anyone tell me what the difference is between all of the Primes? I won a free TF201 from another tech website, and was just wondering the difference between the TF100, TF201, Tf300, TF700T, etc....
 
The TF101 is the original. It has a dual core processor and other old technology.
The TF201 has a quad core processor and an IPS+ display.
The TF300 was just released and has an IPS display (no plus). It also has a plastic back which is supposed to be better for wifi/GPS, but makes it thicker and heavier.
The TF700 isn't out yet, but is supposed to have a higher resolution display and will have 3G/4G variants.

I believe that the TF700t (Infinity) is supposed to fix the GPS problem as well but still keep the aluminum backing (or so it's rumored).
 
But no major hardware upgrades, just small increments of hardware fixes?

And thanks, yeah I won from one of the sites that NVIDIA partnered with to give out its Tegra 3 devices to. Got that, the keyboard dock, a $25 AMEX gift card, and a $180 PowerBag messenger bag with a 6000 mAh battery.

Yeah. NVIDIA partnered up with some tech sites, and the site I won from also included the messenger bag. $600 tab, $25 gift card, $180 bag, $150 dock. $955 worth of free stuff. I'm still in disbelief until I receive it in the mail tomorrow.
 
Nice win. You know you can't complain about any Prime issues since you won it.:D

BTW make sure it either comes with the GPS dongle (unlikely) or go to Asus VIP website, register as a VIP user and submit your information for the free GPS dongle (if the newer models still have the GPS issue and are eligible for the dongle).

Think of the TF201 as the big brother of the TF101 and the TF300 as the TF201's stepbrother. The TF700 is going to be the Big Daddy of them all.
 
Isn't the TF700 the Infinity? And yeah, no complaining for something I would have shelled out money but got for free. Rooting the Prime I heard was much easier than doing like 20 steps with my Inspire. I do believe the Prime is one-click right?
 
Not if your on .21. You will have to either 1 click with viperboy prime time before you connect it to wifi or try to downgrade to either .15 or .17

You can. You just need to download the OTA Rootkeeper app from the market, run it and have it protect root, take the OTA update to .21, and then use OTA Rootkeeper to restore root.
