Different screen clarity then another mytouch 4H

So i read on the xda forums that the mytouch 4G has different screens. One is washed out and the other is clear... I have just discovered that my phone is washed out. I have a black MT4G and compared with a plum one. Is there anything we can do about this? Any word from anyone?

You can take it back in and ask for a replacement and hope you get a good screen or you can call in and tell them you have a bad screen that is washed out and you would like a replacement and they will ship you one express and hope you get one with a good screen. I've heard the replacement phones are new phones as well and not refurbs. So far I've heard the black are the most popular and the ones they are restocking the quickest so you might have luck getting another black one but I have heard the plum is known for not having the washed out screen.

Obviously if it's rooted or has a custom ROM you should unroot and return it to stock.

Finally changed mine out . Got the better screen. So much more vibrant.
Was a huge hassel to deal with though.
