Different Versions

Hello,

I am writing from the Netherlands and here we can only buy the G1 at the t-mobile shop. Because i already have another provider i am thinking about buying one without simlock. I was just wondering, can anyone tell me if there are differences between different models from different countries? Because there is a UK and a US version (Available at ebay in the netherland) but is there a difference between them? Do i still get the updates? Is there a difference in Hardware?

I hope you can help me so i can finally buy this amazing phone.

I don't know this for a fact... but I think the OS builds are the same, however the OS with provider and Sim do change what is available in any given market ... Just, not sure how this works exactly ... but someone here may be able to shed more light on this ... stay tuned ...
