Help Difficulties using a non branded phone?

Can someone explain to me what difficulties I'd have using an unlocked Verizon or ATT Samsung Galaxy S4/5 on the Tmobile network?

IIRC T-Mobile is a GSM carrier, if so there a Verizon phone wouldn't work.

When I called a local reseller and asked for phone pricing I told him Tmobile and he said he had a Verizon factory unlocked S4 I could use. So I did some google and saw some websites claiming that the LTE phones are coming with unlocked sim slots?

Could be. I'm not sure all the nuances on LTE. I'm not sure what your coverage would be outside of LTE areas though. CDMA isn't at all compatible with GSM. Even Sprint phones (CDMA) and won't work on Verizon's CDMA network. Maybe my knowledge is dated though.

A lot of the high end Verizon phones are global. Once unlocked they can be used pretty much on any gsm carrier. Anyways, take a look at this thread regarding using an unlocked Verizon S4 on T-Mobile/AT&T.
