I bought a 2 week old droid x for my friend. Powered it up and it worked great for a week, he went to show someone his phone and the screen went dim right then. You can barely see the screen and I tried a hard reset and it didn't help. The guy at repair universe does not believe it is an LCD issue, thinks it is software, anyone know what to try next, he is freaking out because he just spent $150 and it doesn't work well enough to see the screen.
