Root Dimmer screen mod?

Has anyone found a mod for the Incredible 2 to make the auto-brightness go dimmer than it does, like all the way down? I had this on the original Incredible, and I liked it. Can't find one yet. I wonder if I can make it myself...
 
Adjbrightness on the android market is good Dim screen or something like that too but be careful it can make the screen completely black.
