Help Dinc Entering Text By Voice Not Working In Google Docs

Just wanted to take a poll and see if anyone else is having this problem.

Ever since Google turned on mobile editing of Google Docs this week, their how-to video shows that you can use the voice-to-text feature to enter text into a document.

But when I push the microphone button on my DInc, the "Speak Now" image pops up for half a second and then closes immediately and closes my text entry window without taking any dictation.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know of a way to fix it? I get the feeling this is an issue with HTC's Sense UI not playing nicely with Google Docs new editing feature.

I am having the same problem described about on my new HTC Inspire. It also used the HTC Sense UI, which backs up your suspicion.

I got it to "processing" one time, but no text was entered.

I'm having the same problem. Its fairly easy to get to the processing stage (keep pressing the microphone button). Mine too doesn't paste anything into the document.

I tried using Quickoffice and speech to text works fine. The shame is that I can't upload a document from my android to Google Docs!!!

I'm using an HTC Desire Z.
