Help Disable 3D Button?

Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the 3D button? I don't know if it is just me, but the way I hold my phone I am hitting it by accident quite a bit. I don't like the button at all.

The only way I can imagine u being able to disable is to root and use a custom ROM.

With root, you can remap the button to whatever you want like the camera. 3D Button remap - xda-developers

I may try to root the phone soon, but for now it's worked itself out. I got a case from tpu-cases.com and it has stopped me from pressing the button on accident.

Hehe, that's ironic, and exactly why I returned my tpu case, I couldn't push any of the buttons with it on.

lol.. the only buttons that are covered are the 3D and the Volume... I havent had an issue with either one. I like the resistance it provides.
