Disable advertisements on installed apps

[Android Question]

I installed a flashlight app on my Samsung Galaxy S II using T-Mobile. Once installed, an advertisement banner appears across the bottom of the app when I activate the flashlight. I've tried several different flashlight apps and they all do the same thing. However, some of my co-workers use the same app but do not get the ad across the bottom. How can I disable the advertisement banner?
