Is there anyway that you can download an app that will disable the network communication permission on certain game apps? I do not wish to purchase and update in order to use these apps!

If you're rooted an app like Droidwall will do it for you. Most apps that block this sort of thing need root as far as I'm aware.
What app are you talking about? Are you saying there's a game which requires you to purchase the update in order to continue playing?

I know its not a game but -SPB Shell 3D does somewhat the same thing. Does it say something like "license not found" then it shows either close app or purchase? I know the app Permissions Denied helps with specific permissions. But usually people use titanium backup to freeze things like the market app market updater and play the game, then when it comes back to wanting to download off the market, they close the app and unfreeze market and download.
