Disable Google Goggles?

Without uninstalling it, can the auto search be disabled?

I took a picture that had a Starbucks cup in the background and it alerted me with "starbucks logo" in the notification bar.

It does stuff like more often that i would like, but i still find it useful when i choose the time.

Did you try to disable that option under Goggle's setting menu?

Open Goggles, press the menu button, select the settings (highlighted in red),
and you should be able to disable, search from Camera.

I read that images I scan with Goggles are publicly available... is that true?!? It looks like a privacy nightmare!
