I have searched google and this forum and much to my surprise it seems that i am the only one that has had this problem. (Or i am a poor searcher)..

Log into you Gmail account and then from there you need to configure your Google Checkout settings which has your card information so that if your daughter attempts to purchase anything it will put it on hold until you log in and update the card status
