Help Disable Screen Lock

jsipes

Newbie
I decided to input a PIN for my screen lock, but now I want to go back to no security (I know, I know . . .); however, it tells me that "None" and "Swipe" options are "Disabled by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage."

I have no idea what that means or how it was changed to that. Can anyone help?

Do you have anything under Settings - Security - Trusted Credentials - User?

Do you have to enter your PIN before the phone boots fully?

What entries do you have under Settings - Security - Device Administrators?

Alright, I'm out of ideas, but I'm not giving up! I moved the thread to a more general section of the forum, as I don't believe your issue is specific to the Nexus 5. I hope that getting some more eyes on it will find someone who can help more than me. :D
