Disable sms notifications

Hey guys,

I've downloaded go sms to use for my messages.
Then I've turned off the notification of the integrated sms app and it does not appear anymore in the status bar, but it still does apper in sleep mode When I press a button to check the clock, for example.

I asume the integrated clock is guilty of that crime, but I dont know how to disable it.

Any suggestions?

I assume that in the stock messaging app, you went to the menu > settings and unchecked "Notifications."

Next, go into the clock app and configure it to disable. Then go into the application manager (menu > settings > applications > manage applications) and clear defaults, cache and data from the alarm/clock, then reboot.

I do not understand.
If I open the clock app I have no option to disable anything. The only options are "alarm" and "add alarm".

Oh, that clock app.

I'd then go into the application manager and find that alarm clock and clear all data, etc then reboot.
