disable status bar on lockscreen

From my front lock screen, the status bar is on display which is great. But can I disable the swipe down facility? As I can do this without unlocking the screen first?
Eg. I can see I have a text msg as icon appears in status bar......but I can then swipe the screen in a downwards motion and read the text without having to unlock my lock screen first.....which I don't want to be allowed to do for privacy reasons

As I know you can't disable this notification bar's feature.

But using this feature is only possible when the lock screen isn't protected by password or security pattern.

Have a look on your phone's Settings - Security ...
