Help Disable Tabbed Browsing in Chrome?

I like the Chrome browser. I strongly dislike the tabs. Can tabbed browsing be disabled?

Interesting... I've never heard of someone not liking tabs...

Count me in. The main reason being that you can't even control WHEN the browser opens a new tab. Nor is there any indicator that a new tab has been created. Honestly, in the stock browser they aren't really tabs anyways, since you have to go through menus to switch between them. Eventually you have 15 open.
