Help disable update notification?

is there a way to disable the ota notification on rooted stock or modified stock roms like butter? annoying and i'd hate to accidently install it and brick my phone. (especially since I may give this phone to a family member)

i tried searching some files in titanium for anything with OTA but found nothing....
