Help Disable Weatherbug Clock and Events on the Ticker

Can the Weatherbug Clock and the Events button on the ticker be disabled or turned off? Both buttons are precisely placed to be sure that I hit them accidentally at least once a day. Since I don't really use either function, it would be nice to turn them off. [fingers crossed]

Yeah, sure man.. Easy If your phone is properly rooted (which it should be ), then just go into system/app and delete the weatherbug and ticker apk.. if you need more info, just ask Should be simple enough

Hmmm.... any way to do that without rooting the phone? My employer wouldn't be too happy with me bricking it!
