Help Disabling headset detection on prevail

So my prevail suffers the seemingly common android problem of mistaking headphones for headsets and going wonky when they're removed (launching voice Dialer, or the regular dialer when I removed voice Dialer...)

I've tried a couple of apps that claim to disable detection, but no go. My prevail is rooted if that matters. What can I do to make my phone stop calling people for no good reason?

Welcome to the forums!
Just download another dialer (which you will have 2 dialers) and when disconnected it will ask which one to use and you can just cancel and nobody gets called.
If you want this moved to the rooted section since you mentioned you are rooted, let me know.
