Help Disabling notifications reminder (vibration mode)

remster

Lurker
My Galaxy S5 phone is always on vibration mode. If I have a notification and I don't remove it, my phone keeps reminding me every few minutes (two quick vibrations, three and a half times in a row) and I would really like to make it stop.

It happends for everything (text message, email, calendar event, etc.). I do want to keep the vibration for the moment I receive the notification. I just don't want to get reminded every few minutes that I have a notification I didn't take care of. If I don't take care of it right away (let's say I'm watching a movie), I don't want to get reminded every few minutes. The way I like to use my phone is to get the notification and if I'm available, I take care of it right away. If I'm not available, I leave it there for me to take care of it next time I pick up my phone. I will then check if I have notifications.

Any suggestions?

Just checked out my wife's s5 and she doesn't get reminders and I can't find a setting for it on that huge settings menu lol.
You don't have a notification app like light flow installed do you?

Depends a lot on the app itself that's causing the repeat notifications. You have to check the settings for the app itself. For example, in messaging settings, the repeat notification is there.

No I don't. ''Problem'' started after I sent it to get repaired and I re installed everything. Didn't have this ''problem'' before but I did have it with my HTC One S last year.

Chanchan05, I'll try removing the notifications from every single app and see if that solves the problem. What a pain...
