Help Disabling or Changing the Unlock swipe method

They should make it just two buttons when someone calls you. To accept and not accept instead of the swipe method.

The swiping drives me nuts!
I did the pattern set then de-selected it on my ally and it just reverted back to swipe lock again
I also tried Autolock and no luck
I will try No lock now....there is no setting under security that I can find to disable the swipe lock or prolong the time for it to occur?

speaking of swipe bars, is there any way of getting rid of the pull down bar at the top of the screen as i can't get it to pull down and as i keep pressing the button at the bottom to end call (i had a satio before the x10) i then have to struggle to take to cover off.

Hi Lalea1860,

To delay the locking of the phone, you go into settings, Sound & Display, Screen timeout and change the time from there.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

My Uncle has an LG chocolate, and I like the way he just has to swipe from the buttom of the screen up, I am using an LG optimus V, and the swipe unlock it has by default is a left to right, which is somewhat uncomfortable. Anyone know of a swipe unlocker this is like the LG chocolate? it goes from bottom upwards.

TRy widgetlocker. It changes your lock screen to whatever you want. Changes slider, wallpaper, let you add other widgets to the unlock screen, etc.
