Root Disabling updates?

What would be needed to disable notifications of system updates? It's getting pretty annoying. Anyone know how to do this?

I have had them for a while. I just let them install and they are usually gone for like 2 weeks. I dunno, what is it is trying to update?

It's the 46.3MB update that upgrades from MD6 to M12.

Yep... that would be the same one I have. Like I said.. I just let them fail. Then they don't bug me for a while. You using Partytime?

Yeah, I'm using 3.0. It bugs me more frequent however. When I let it fail, it's only about an hour or two before it comes back.

Has anyone managed to disable that annoying update notification?

Go to root/cache and delete the update zip and then change the cache permissions to r-r-r

My cache folder seems to be empty.

EDIT: Just rechecked again, it's not empty but there is no update .zip.
