New poster with a samsung s2 (4.0.4), who is beginning to rue binning a Nokia N8!
I have had to adjust some settings to reduce data download which was a serious problem............as a consequence, I can no longer get a text notification on my home screen with the number of texts i receive. Its buzzes fine, but no visual display of notification/number of texts on screen.
I'm pretty unhappy about the messing around thus far, so I would be grateful if this small but troublesome problem can be solved.
