Hi all..first post, but probably one of many!!..

The small green phone keypad short cut on the home screen has disappeared completely forcing me to reset the whole phone again..

I did momentarily nod off holding the phone..and found a Cnn news app I had downloaded there instead...

Whats happening?...can I do anything about this if it happens again?

Please dont tell I needn't of reset the phone..:-(

Thank you.........

I think you just swapped the apps on the dock. You can remove and add and change the apps on the dock in edit mode. You don't have to reset to get the phone icon back in there. Just go to edit mode and drag the phone app shortcut from the app drawer to the home screen then to the dock.

Thanks for that...I did get a little greedy with the Apps I must admit...but that said I did delete the CNN App first but still didnt get my keypad back..if it happens again I will delete a few more first..

Go into Applications. Is the Phone app there? Long press on it then drop it into an empty spot on a homescreen. Go to that homescreen, long press on an empty spot. It will go to edit mode. Drag the phone app into the dock where its supposed to sit.
