Simular, I have the $10/month warranty through best buy; well my son knowcked over a glass of water on mine and killed it. I took it in and finally after 2 weeks best buy said they cannot fix it and I need to get an exchange. Well they do not carry the backflip anymore, nobody does! Well the cost difference between a backflip without contract and a captivate was $64. really makes me wonder if 2.1 will really come out.

By the way where did you see that information?
