discounted Vacation package sites?

Hi,

I want to go on vacation.. with my gf.. we are in Dallas Texas area.
I used to grab the sunday newpaper, and look in the travel section to find all the last minute vacation packages for ideas.

what is a good website find discounted vacation packages?
I want to see already packages .. laid out.. so I can get ideas.
dates for the best discounts.

not just a search engine.. because I don't have any idea what, where, when to put in the info.

I can vouch for Costco travel. Good stuff if you're a member.

Additionally, I can recommend Tripadvisor. Not only great to research your destination, accommodations, local places to eat, etc. but they also partner with a lot of travel sites so you can book your flight/hotel/rental car should you choose to do so. http://www.tripadvisor.com/
