Help Dismiss alarm

Since upgrading to 2.3.5 and the 'Ring' I can't dismiss an alarm when the phone is locked. The screen activates and there are buttons for Snooze and Dismiss but neither are active with the screen locked. The instruction is to pull the ring to dismiss but doing that results in the snooze activating and therefore the process repeating

I'm not sure but I think in the Alarm setting you can change so that the default is dimiss and not snooze.

Just enable the 'Side button behaviour' to 'Dismiss' on alarm settings. So that you don't need to touch the screen and have dismissed by pressing vol keys.
