Help display and control problem

I have a problem with the galaxy s. When I go in settings phone goes to scrolling and opening different settings without my control. When I go in task manager phone scrolls out of control. I try virus scan with programs from android market (Dr Web Anti Virus light) and it did not find anything. I did a factory reset but it still doesn

never heard about this. You should go to a service center and let them check your phone.

Sounds like a faulty touch screen?

Just a random shot at troubleshooting, but are you using a screen protector? Have you tried removing it?
