Display dimming/brightening auto app?

Hey all

I need a third party app that automatically modifies my phone's display brightness depending on battery or AC power - I don't think my HTC Sensation XE has the functionality built in.

Ie I need an app that I can configure to:

• Set a lower brightness when the device is running on battery
• Set a higher brightness when the device is running on AC power

Is there such an app? I don't mind paying a little - every little helps on my HTC's poor battery life!

Try "Power Manager". It works well for me.

Tasker. And can automate a whole lot of things as well.

On my Desire HD I can set the brightness to whatever level I want when the power saver kicks in. However, I just have the built-in Brightness setting** on the home screen and adjust it manually, as I do with screen on/off. Maybe that's just me though ....

** I am running 2.3.5 with Sense 3 though.

Thanks folks. I'm sure Tasker is the solution but I haven't got time to fiddle with it right now. When I've got the chance I'll play with it and see if I can fine tune it! Cheers all.
