Display problems

Hey all

okay so this is part battery issue as well, so the cell standby is using up 43% and i know about the problem etc

but my other issue is my display is using 48% together its killing my battery

my display setting are as follows;
brightness at lowest possible
screen timeout - 15sec
touch key light - 1.5sec
screen mode - standard
auto adjust screen power - on
normal wallpaper too

i dunno what else i can change to lower the display, after 3 hours and 37minutes my battery is at 87%

any help or suggestions on what i can do to lower the display usage would be helpful

The display on my Inspire is consuming too. Have you tried Juice Defender which may greatly expand battery life? I can go to sleep for hours and wake up to about 90% battery w/o the phone being plugged in. Has nothing to do w/the display but try as Task Killer.

A 4.8" HD screen is bound to take up power. Even when you're setting it up to use the least amount of power it can use, it's still going to be one of your highest in the battery chart. There is not a lot you can do about it, other than to curb power usage in other areas, like those who have JuiceDefender have done.
