Display resolution question

I would like to know if theres a different between 800x480 and 480x800 display resolution or if they are the same

They are the same, it just depends how you're measuring the screen. This reminds me of the Craigslist ad of someone looking to trade their 6x9 baking pan for a 9x6 pan that a recipe they were making called for.

Yep, the same. Just different people measuring it in different ways. Height x Width as opposed to Width x Height.
