Display SMS

[maeve1941]

Hi, I have a problem that SMS does not display on my phone. It is a galaxy S4 copy. When I get an SMS I have to go to messages to pick up my messages. I have tried fixing this in settings but still I cannot get it to display on the desktop. Is this a fault as my previous phones did display messages?
Thanks!

If you're using the stock Android Messaging app, that doesn't support pop up notifications for text. You'll need a third party app like GO SMS Pro, or Handcent SMS.
